sad yet painful...i think
« on: Nov 26 2009, 01:10 PM »
its a bit odd  but for quite some time (i just never saw this forum) have been having the same dream over and over. And for once, I cannot seem to figure it out. it starts out where I'm wandering out of a forest and finally return to the city yet I dont know why i was in the forest to begin with. and i see the whole city destroyed in flames and my self standing infront of it laughing. after that a blade comes from behind through my heart and I can literally feel the pain and the blood falling and I wake up choking as if it really had happened. Anyone got an idea of what it can or may mean?

There could be many reasons. I'm not really sure. I study dream books and this has me baffled. Could be just nothing, but all the same, could mean something. It sounds like something painful is happening in your life, the forest could represent your whole life as being peaceful, the city being your life as well, but a bit more stressful, so you try to take care of it. The laughing symbolizing that you try to cover up the pain with joy as you watch your life burn away, and then it hits you, like a knife through the heart of what you have just done. This is just my opinion, I could be totally off. Are you going through any thing stressful in your life? If so, this dream could be warning you to act upon it, and not to destroy it with fake emotions of joy, or else, pay the price.

seems quite reasonable, i normally can decipher a dream but this...this just had me stumped beyond beleife. but I think we may need to look beyond the basic meanings of dreams, past the human books. but as for what you have mentioned it seems most reasonable for now in my mind. you have my thanks.

Sounds like the ending scene of your previous life, the dream world likely distorting it, but in a sense it represents a place you had destroyed, a place you likely had a great dislike for. But when you were laughing you had your guard down, someone who was likely after you for it had taken advantage of it.

But kitsune cannot be killed that easily, and if this is the case they likely thought you were done for and left, you then escaped and took the form you have today. This would mean that you, like me, came to this world in injury and had no other choice but to take on a human body.

This is just something that it sounds like it could be to me.
