New Story - Need some extra ideas!!

hey everyone x
i have a plot line for a story but i have a few questions that need to be answered  :determined:

Plot:
- group of 6 teenage humans are being hunted down by the government, because they (teenagers) have rescued a young kitsune from government labs, and the government want her (the kitsune) for military purposes.
- they are moving from forest to forest (camping) whilst on the move, covering up their tracks
- the government manage to kidnap one of the humans
- ...I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!!!  O_O

Why not have that kitsune give the kids powers?
